Four Places You Need to Visit in Arizona

Arizona.. a state full of adventure and beauty, from the mountains to the canyons, this state is full of amazing surprises. If you are headed to Arizona, make sure to see these four places you need to visit in Arizona. Although these pictures in this post are amazing, there is nothing, and I mean nothing, like seeing these places for yourself. So, grab your camera, your favorite road trip buddy, and hit the road..

These are four sights you need to visit in Arizona…

1. The Grand Canyon

This one may be an obvious visit, as Arizona’s nickname is actually The Grand Canyon State, but nonetheless, this place is worth a visit. If you want to feel small, yet so alive, this is the place for you. This deep, wide canyon has been millions of years in the making by the rushing Colorado River. See the views from the top, take a hike down, or even take a helicopter ride above. Any way you decide to experience the Grand Canyon, it will still be full of magic.

2. Sedona, Arizona

There is not one part of this city that is not to love. Surrounded by red rocks and plenty of hiking and adventure, Sedona is a must visit on your trip to Arizona. Be sure to check out one of the local tourist centers for information on hiking and things to do around this beautiful Arizona city.

3. Horseshoe Bend

One of the most incredible sights in Arizona is the Colorado River bending around a curve, forming a horseshoe shape. This beautiful landmark is found near Page, Arizona. While many argue about the best time to visit Horseshoe Bend, you can be sure to have an incredible view any time you visit. This is one of the places that you will visit and be in complete awe over.. The views are that spectacular.

4. Antelope Canyon

These magnificent canyons, best known for their light rays into the canyon, are located in Page, Arizona. These canyons are filled with amazing colors and beautiful shapes… and if you’re lucky, you will catch one of the famous light beams glowing into the canyon from above. Be sure to visit in off-season, as these canyons are becoming more and more crowded with tourists from around the world. Also, to visit, you have to be with a tour group, so make sure to check out Ken’s Tours for Lower Antelope Canyon!

Be sure to add these places to your Arizona bucket list!

    Hi Nicole,

Great shots 😉 My cousin lived in Maricopa for a decade. Loved the place. But a wee bit hot during summer months for raising a fam so they moved to North Carolina recently. He shared many stunning pictures of the surreal beauty there. Thanks for sharing 🙂
