Are you ready for to spend New Years in Times Square…
Ringing in the New Years in Times Square was always a huge thing on my bucket list. I didn’t think I would be lucky enough to experience such an awesome New Years in my life. Then, a friend bailed on a trip and my friend and I had two plane tickets that we needed to use by the end of the year. And guess what… Flights to NYC were the same price as we originally paid for our tickets so we didn’t have to spend any extra money.
It was official, we were saying goodbye to 2014 and ringing in 2015 in TIMES SQUARE! This was a freakin’ dream come true. We had the time of our lives. I don’t think I will ever forget this night as long as I live. Fortunately for us, the cops liked talking to us and brought us to an area that was right in front of the ball drop… like 100 feet from the ball drop kind of close.
We had a free T. Swift concert, which was amazing for the three songs she sung and then finally, it was the countdown to the new year. It was so exciting. After the ball dropped, the sky was raining confetti. I remember looking around in complete awe at how beautiful Times Square was at this moment in time. Unfortunately for us, it will now be very hard to top New Year’s Eve. Ever. But I can live with that. Because I spent New Years in Times Square with two of my best friends.
If New Year’s in Times Square isn’t on your bucket list, I highly suggest for you to add it, it is absolutely a dream come true.
